my go-to (healthyish) coffee orders

Coffee is definitely my love language and what better way to spread love then share my go to coffee orders. This past March, I became a barista at Petit Jean Coffeehouse and have loved making new creations and trying new drinks.

I used to be the type of person who ordered a caramel macchiato at every single coffee shop all year round (cringe). That order got old and so did the extra calories! I like to spice up my coffee and go for the healthier option.

To lighten up my favorite coffee order, I substitute almond milk for regular milk. I also go for sugar free syrups when available to enjoy a little sweetness to my coffee without all the sugar.

I sometimes go for a simple latte but below are my favorite coffee combinations I have been experimenting with!

WHAT TO ORDER?

  • almond milk macchiato with 1 oz raspberry and 1 oz sugar free vanilla syrup
    • trust me on this one! It tastes just like the chocolate covered raspberry candies in the Valentine’s Day heart shaped boxes. If you order this drink iced, then the bottom is a light pink color and is sooo pretty and delicious!
  • almond milk latte with 1 oz sugar free caramel, 1 oz sugar free vanilla, and 1 oz cinnamon
    • this is another one of my go-to drinks! This drink is good all year round and tastes just like a snickerdoodle!
  • almond milk latte with 1 oz honey, 1 oz sugar free vanilla, and oz 1 cinnamon
    • this is a coffee order I will most likely stick with for a while! This drink goes perfect with any kind of sweet treat and is perfect if you like something naturally sweetened.
  • cold brew with almond milk foam and sugar free maple syup
    • this order is a little different than my usual drinks but I get it every once in a while! This drink isn’t as heavy and tastes just like coffee and pancakes!

You can order all of these drinks iced or hot (besides the cold brew)! Please let me know f you tried any of these drinks and tag me on Instagram @madisonmourottttt
